Overview The Risk Services Insights team is a dynamic group of inquisitive, collaborative, and forward-thinking professionals who understand the transformative power of data. Our mission? As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be vital in providing performance analytics that enhance operational effectiveness, optimize resources, and guide strategic decisions throughout Risk Services. You’ll dive into your role immediately, developing analytical tools, ensuring data accuracy, and translating complex performance metrics into compelling narratives for senior leadership. Responsibilities: Analyze service delivery performance and operational metrics to reveal the drivers of efficiency, quality, and customer impact. Develop performance dashboards and KPI frameworks that allow leaders to track trends and assess business outcomes. Examine large datasets to spot trends, anomalies, and root causes; convert findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Manage a structured workload by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business partners; document user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurement definitions. Facilitate discussions with stakeholders across the organization to clarify objectives, agree on project scope, and ensure successful delivery. Utilize your understanding of data structures and architecture to troubleshoot data issues and collaborate with engineering teams. Create and deliver polished, data-driven presentations tailored for senior leadership, translating complex insights into impactful business communication. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance measurement roles. Expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Tableau Desktop/Server, Tableau Prep, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience managing messy datasets, validating data, and conducting complex analysis. Familiarity with data structures, architecture concepts, and data engineering workflows. Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations. Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in data storytelling. Experience in requirements gathering and structured documentation. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, engage in proactive communication, and maintain stakeholder alignment. Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and tools is a plus. Prior experience in the insurance or risk engineering field is preferred but not necessary. Work Arrangement: This role offers Hybrid or Remote work options: Candidates located near Hartford, Chicago, Charlotte, or other major office locations are expected to work in-office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday). Remote candidates will work virtually, with occasional travel as business needs arise. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Compensation: The annual base pay range for this role is $92,800 - $147,720. This range is based on analysis of similar positions in the market, with actual pay varying based on performance, proficiency, and required competencies. The base pay is just a part of our total compensation package, which may include bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
