Automotive Paint Specialist

Your skills in color formula lookup and mixing custom OEM colors will set you apart, all while providing exceptional technical support. Leverage PBE sales tools to deliver top-notch service to our retail and professional customers, and collaborate closely with the Store Manager to achieve PBE sales objectives. Essential Job Functions Engage proactively with both retail and professional PBE customers to build strong connections. Provide expert color matching assistance and guidance on selecting the right paint products. Identify OEM paint codes, input formulas into the retrieval computer, and mix and tint paint according to manufacturer specifications. Utilize advanced color matching tools such as ColorNet, Paint Manager, and spectrophotometers. Maintain a clean and safe mixing room while effectively managing all PBE inventory. Implement and summarize a weekly call schedule for management review. Coordinate with Installer Service Specialists for optimal delivery scheduling and efficiency. Promote and uphold company customer service programs and adhere to standard operational policies. Assist customers with labor claims or inquiries related to PBE warranty. Train store team members in PBE sales and address technical queries. Stay updated on industry news, regulations, and compliance related to PBE. Promote existing PBE sales tools such as Shop Specials and Product Announcements. Ensure accurate pricing for professional customers to enhance profits and competitiveness. Greet walk-in customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise. Complete required training modules pertinent to your role. Manage various customer transactions, handle returns, and resolve complaints effectively. Support clerical duties including returns and stock adjustments. Work collaboratively with Territory Sales Managers to provide outstanding service to all professional PBE customers. Required Skills and Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Aptitude for quickly matching alphanumeric sequences. Exceptional customer service abilities. Capability to multitask efficiently, managing both phone and in-store customers. Desired Skills Knowledge or experience in automotive paint and body. Relevant technical schooling preferred. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly preferred).
