Join our dedicated community and prioritize health first The Associate Director of Finance Data Strategy plays a crucial role in managing configuration control, data oversight, and reporting deficiencies within the Finance organization. This position requires a robust understanding of how data capabilities across various Finance departments are interconnected. In this role, you will help implement government and industry standards related to requirements management, document management, change management, and configuration management for performance, functional, and physical baselines. You will acquire, validate, store, protect, and process necessary data to ensure it is accessible, reliable, and timely for users. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategies, policies, practices, and procedures to effectively manage the entire data lifecycle within the enterprise. You will be making decisions aimed at resolving complex technical and operational issues related to Finance. The Associate Director of Finance Data Strategy is tasked with implementing a multi-year roadmap that enables the Finance organization to achieve an optimized target state architecture that includes: Standardizing Finance Data Definitions & Ownership Optimizing Operational Costs in Finance Empowering Finance with Self-Service Analytics Strengthening Compliance & Audit Readiness Accelerating Finance Closing, Budgeting, and Forecasting cycles Building a Predictive and AI-Ready Finance Platform Additionally, you will lead your team in operationalizing strong data foundations while continuously improving processes and the quality of data management within the Finance division. You will also collaborate closely with enterprise data governance and strategy to ensure that goals align perfectly across the organization. Showcase your skills and make a difference Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or technology Hands-on experience in Finance functions (Accounting, FP&A, or CFO-related environments) Minimum of 6 years of technical experience At least 2 years in a management role Ability to analyze complex data and communicate effectively across various organizational units Experience with Enterprise Scale ERP systems Proficient in managing large datasets in both on-premises and cloud environments Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business/technology or CPA certification Advanced understanding or certification in Oracle Fusion Cloud (various modules like ERP, GL, AP, AR) Experience with cloud platforms like Databricks or Snowflake Knowledge of AI applications in Finance Proficiency in SQL and capabilities to analyze data using modern analytical tools Additional Information SSN Alert Statement Humana prioritizes personal identity protection. Work from Home Requirements To ensure effective performance, remote employees must have a self-provided internet service meeting the following criteria: minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; wired cable or DSL is recommended. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may only be used with approval from leadership. Employees working remotely from California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly payment for internet expenses. Humana will also supply appropriate telephone equipment for remote employees' roles while ensuring a dedicated workspace to maintain confidentiality of member PHI/HIPAA information. Travel may be necessary on occasion for training or meetings at Humana's offices. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range This compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) positions at the time of posting. The actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. $129,300 - $177,800 annually This role may include eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company or individual performance.
