The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) seeks a dedicated AI Software & System Architect Lead. This role is pivotal in enhancing our Applied AI team and radar track processing product portfolio through exciting projects that make a real difference. What You'll Be Doing: Leading the monitoring and maintenance of deployed AI capabilities, while developing new enhancements to improve ML monitoring and update processes. Analyzing client data and evaluating ML model performance to pinpoint improvement opportunities. Developing and refining ML models to meet shifting operational demands. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate and advance solutions quickly. Providing ongoing maintenance for deployed products using best practices in machine learning operations. Who You Are: A technically savvy professional with strong expertise in radar systems engineering, signal processing, DevSecOps, software development, data science, and machine learning. Possessing excellent self-motivation, work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. A team player capable of effectively collaborating with various departments. Deep understanding of machine learning operations and experience with the continuous maintenance of deployed products. Able to secure and maintain a security clearance, with U.S. citizenship being a requirement due to the nature of the role. Availability to work on-site at LM Moorestown 50% to full time, with occasional off-hours required to meet mission objectives. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficient in modern MLOps pipeline training and analysis steps, including labeling, model monitoring, and deployment. Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Git (GitLab, GitHub), CI/CD. Skilled in Python and familiar with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas. Ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance. Desired Skills: Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Proven leadership in long-term software and machine learning programs. Experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB) and open-source ML frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, Sklearn, Keras). Familiarity with Rust, C++, and other compiled languages. Experience in coordinating integration activities and program execution across teams. Able to serve as an external spokesperson on technical matters in software, machine learning, and radar systems. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for consideration.
