Content Manager - Private Equity and Transactions

About the Role LexisNexis is seeking a seasoned attorney with over 5 years of experience in transactional law, specifically in private equity and investment management. You will play a critical role in developing online legal content, products, tools, and solutions tailored for attorneys. Your time will be split evenly between private equity investment management and various other transactional sectors, including real estate, corporate, M&A, and finance. Your Responsibilities Crafting and refining high-quality, authoritative, and up-to-date guidance on private equity and investment management as well as related transaction areas. Overseeing the complete development cycle of content for your designated practice areas, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives. Collaborating on team projects and supporting multiple stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing, to ensure commercial success. Gathering and incorporating customer feedback to enhance legal tools and resources. Recruiting, managing, and refining contributions from external authors for timely delivery of content. Providing insights and recommendations for content development strategies and product design. Staying informed on the latest trends and news within practice areas. Monitoring market competition to maintain product relevance. Innovatively integrating AI technologies for content evolution. Understanding and advocating for Practical Guidance's value proposition within the organization and externally. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 5 years as a transactional attorney. In-depth knowledge of workflows in the private equity and investment management sectors, along with experience in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate/REITS, Corporate and M&A, Finance, or Venture Capital. Experience in private funds or alternative investments at a large law firm or within legal departments of investment firms, with expertise in U.S. investment management laws. Strong ability to synthesize and apply complex legal concepts for diverse audiences, demonstrating clarity and precision in presentation. Familiarity with AI technologies and their role in legal content creation. Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills; prior experience with CLEs or client alerts is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and adept at conducting online legal research using AI tools. J.D. or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in good standing.
