Our Services Include: Strategy, Architecture, Planning, and Procurement Business Enablement Business Solutions Project Assurance PCG is currently seeking a Senior Consultant to lead a significant public sector state government project while simultaneously contributing to the expansion of our Technology Consulting Practice Area. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the main liaison with state project leadership, providing expert guidance for a major ERP Migration project to ensure all requirements are met. You will oversee a dedicated project team in delivering Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services, managing tasks and deliverables, and ensuring alignment with our practice area's strategic direction and methodology. Your commitment to maintaining high quality and thorough assessments and deliverables will be essential for the ERP Migration project. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Lead project teams and provide clear direction, keeping stakeholders well-informed. Proactively resolve complex client challenges from project initiation through execution with a consultative approach. Anticipate potential issues and blockers early, addressing them effectively. Identify and communicate patterns related to root causes of problems to peers and leadership. Analyze complex data and research to support objective recommendations. Participate in project delivery activities, including analysis, deliverable creation, and reporting on project performance. Manage project teams through all phases of the SDLC, focusing on business analysis, architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, and implementation. Utilize your financial acumen to provide business recommendations that enhance project outcomes. Business Development: Assist with proposal responses for RFPs, including writing proposals. Analyze competitor activities and formulate strategies to differentiate our offerings. Enhance your understanding of our products and services, aligning them with market needs. Critically review RFPs, influence bid decisions, and advocate for compelling business cases. Qualifications: Experience implementing or overseeing a large-scale cloud-based ERP system (preferably PeopleSoft or SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration). Demonstrated IV&V expertise in large ERP/Financial system implementations. A minimum of 10 years technology experience, with 5+ years in IV&V, project management, and quality assurance for state government projects. Exceptional writing skills and the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Experience in large integrated or modular environments. Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with all personnel levels. A self-starter with enthusiasm and political acumen to achieve goals while fostering positive relationships. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Willingness to travel regionally (up to 25%) and occasionally nationwide for meetings. Preferred Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP solutions like SAP, PeopleSoft, and other leading systems. Experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Migration, and Software Implementation. Required Skills: Strong quantitative abilities for analyzing and interpreting financial data. Ability to research, analyze, and interpret policies and regulations. Proactive approach to working independently and consistently achieving exemplary results. Ability to collaborate effectively with all project team members. Outstanding oral and written presentation capabilities. Proven initiative to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer relationships. Working Conditions: This position is hybrid with travel and onsite requirements. Compensation: Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies based on several factors such as office location, role, skills, and experience. PCG offers a competitive compensation range for this role, alongside benefits including medical and dental coverage, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave. Range: $88,000 - $135,000 PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
