What You'll Bring: Significant experience in the utilities sector, equipping you to support clients in navigating the challenges and opportunities associated with digitization. A strong background in designing and implementing innovative Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) capabilities, encompassing meter deployment, billing, outage management, and analytics. Your Responsibilities: Identify client challenges and communicate the transformative value through measurable business impacts. Provide insights into key issues confronting utilities today while anticipating future trends. Consistently seek out and leverage state-of-the-art technologies and advanced metering solutions for clients. Guide and mentor emerging managers and consultants at Accenture. Champion the growth and success of your team members. Build strong, trust-based relationships within client organizations, from executives to operational teams. Analyze and synthesize business and operational data to draw insights that support evidence-based decision-making. Core Expertise & Technological Focus: Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI): Craft and deploy smart metering solutions that facilitate real-time data exchanges, enhancing customer communication and automating billing processes. Internet of Things (IoT) & Sensors: Use connected devices to track critical variables, boosting grid stability and asset health through improved visibility. Grid Modernization: Implement Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) to enhance reliability and renewable energy integration. Digital Twins & BIM: Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital twin technologies to simulate, monitor, and predict asset performance. Edge Computing & AI: Utilize asset-level data processing for autonomous decision-making and operational optimization driven by AI. Your Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years of experience in the utilities industry (electric and/or gas). A minimum of 7 years of project implementation experience across AMI processes and technologies, ensuring seamless integration of business and IT requirements. A minimum of 7 years of functional experience with major AMI product vendors and platforms (e.g., Itron, Landis+Gyr, Aclara, Sensus, Siemens, Oracle, SAP). At least 3 years of experience in a top consulting organization. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
