About the Role Our Omnichannel Center of Excellence is focused on fostering innovation and delivering capabilities that enhance our impact on patients and providers. We are seeking a Medical Omnichannel Data Scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data integration. This role involves conceptualizing, prototyping, and developing advanced analytics models to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to leverage analytics and machine learning techniques, enhancing communication strategies and ensuring personalized interactions with healthcare professionals and thought leaders. Job Responsibilities: Data Integration & Management: Analyze and integrate pharmaceutical data, including claims and EHR systems. Collaborate with Omnichannel Data Engineers to unify data from CRM systems and social media. Utilize natural language processing to extract insights from unstructured medical texts, such as clinical notes and call center transcripts. Identify key data features that drive decision-making and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Implement predictive analytics and clustering algorithms to generate insights and identify trends across channels. Collaborate with the Omnichannel ML/Ops engineer to build and deploy production-grade predictive models that optimize sales strategies and predict customer behavior. Create scalable models that align with Otsuka's growing portfolio and ensure seamless integration into analytic products. Maintain expertise in the MLOPS lifecycle—working with tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake, and Dataiku. Omnichannel Optimization: Design and implement recommendation systems to personalize communications based on stakeholder preferences and behaviors using advanced machine learning techniques. Analyze omnichannel campaign performance to identify key touchpoints and refine engagement strategies through A/B testing and uplift modeling. Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate analytical approaches effectively to inform strategic objectives for business partners. Collaborate with medical affairs, marketing, and IT teams to align and integrate omnichannel strategies, providing technical support on data-related initiatives. Stay current with emerging trends and develop strategic partnerships to enhance Otsuka's analytical capabilities. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in data sciences or computer science, with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills: Experience in implementing data analytics algorithms using tools such as Python, R, or SAS. Familiarity with machine learning applications in life sciences and managing relevant datasets is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for leading cross-functional teams. In-depth understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including feature engineering and model deployment. Experience managing machine learning projects from start to end. Agile methodology experience is advantageous. Prior experience in the healthcare industry is beneficial. Compensation: Minimum $164,530.00 - Maximum $245,985.00, plus incentive opportunities. Compensation is based on experience and skills relative to the role.
