Business Analyst for Rate Lock System

This role involves monitoring and analyzing system usage, designing innovative solutions, and creating specifications for enhancements to our systems. You will work closely with our technology department and engage with various stakeholders, becoming a subject matter expert in the technology used. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document system/user requirements from business users to understand their needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project goals, scope, and timelines. Adapt plans based on updates to project scope, priorities, or requirements. Delegate tasks as required and track progress efficiently. Utilize user feedback and usage statistics to validate and strengthen requirements. Support departmental goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall strategies. Provide regular updates on team performance and project status to management. Organize and prioritize projects effectively, working to complete tasks within specified timeframes while communicating any issues promptly. Translate business requirements into detailed functional designs for the development and testing processes. Examine system usage and identify areas for improvement, addressing issues including overrides and common errors. Engage in dialogues with application analysts to foster synergy between systems across the organization. Participate in quality initiatives and ensure high standards are met. Proactively anticipate and address potential challenges. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare for system demonstrations. Handle daily requests efficiently and maintain open communication with stakeholders about testing progress and issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Senior Analyst or Analyst role, preferably in the mortgage/technology/secondary market sector. Experience in mortgage banking or financial services is preferred. Prior experience at SitusAMC as a QA or Technology Analyst is highly preferred. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A strong ability to provide constructive feedback with professionalism. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using web-based systems. Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Reliable and punctual with a willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50,000.00 - $80,000.00, determined based on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates may also receive a discretionary bonus and have access to various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K plans.
