Product Security Engineer

Summary: Join Meta's Product Security team as an experienced hacker dedicated to uncovering vulnerabilities and developing innovative solutions to protect the security and privacy of over two billion users. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough design and implementation security reviews of Meta's diverse ecosystem products, including Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and Portal. Offer valuable guidance and educational resources to developers to minimize vulnerabilities in their coding practices. Create automated analysis tools and secure frameworks alongside software engineers to ensure scalable security across all Meta products. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Over 8 years of expertise in identifying vulnerabilities in interpreted languages, coupled with knowledge of secure coding best practices. Proven experience in exploiting common security vulnerabilities. Understanding of common exploit mitigations and their functionalities. Proficient coding and scripting skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages. Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in identifying security vulnerabilities and secure code development specifically in C and C++. Active contributions to the security community through research, blogging, presentations, or bug bounty programs. Experience in creating software that facilitates security initiatives.
