As a Co-op or Intern, you will be equipped with the tools necessary for professional growth, gain practical experience, and apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects while completing your undergraduate degree. Program Details: Co-op: This is an 8-month full-time employment opportunity where you will immerse yourself in the corporate and production industry as a valued team member. Internship: A 4-month part-time employment experience, with potential for extension over multiple semesters, allowing you to engage with the foundations of our corporate and production sectors. Roles & Responsibilities: Material Planning: Plan, schedule, and order parts to meet build schedule requirements. Coordinate and implement Engineering Change Notices. Minimize expediting time and freight costs for parts issues. Manage past-due purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Payable on supplier invoicing. Materials & Logistics: Establish and monitor metrics related to the supply chain. Design, prototype, and implement material flow and logistics solutions. Optimize inbound and outbound logistics networks. Calculate manpower needs for various supply chain segments. Sourcing: Address tactical sourcing challenges to enhance material flow and support strategic initiatives. Identify potential sources, gather quotes, evaluate supplier proposals, and conduct cost analyses. Participate in the world-class Value Add process alongside Product Engineering. Involved in negotiations and contract development with external suppliers. Job Requirements: Current Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Commitment to the entire term of either the 8-month Co-op or the 4-month Internship. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Team-oriented, quick learner, and adaptable to change. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Self-motivated with the ability to solve problems independently. Basic computer skills and capacity to follow written instructions. Benefits for Students: Competitive pay.
