Key Responsibilities Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and modalities as per physician prescriptions. Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status and response to therapy. Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including oxygen delivery systems, ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and aerosol medication devices. Provide tracheostomy care and perform suctioning when necessary. Work alongside physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to create and implement personalized care plans. Document all treatments, assessments, and resident responses accurately in the medical record. Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care procedures and equipment use. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety regulations. Participate in care conferences and assist with quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in good standing. Current BLS certification required. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred. Proficient in ventilator management and tracheostomy care, strongly preferred. Exceptional clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Join Us in Making a Difference!
