We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven professional to aid in Amazon's global sustainability disclosure processes. Your contributions will be pivotal in scaling Amazon's reporting infrastructure and ensuring high-quality sustainability disclosures through cross-functional partnerships that elucidate Amazon's social programs and key metrics. In this role, you will: Prepare for compliance with emerging regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Establish robust reporting processes and assess key metrics from partner teams. Resolve complex reporting decisions and draft comprehensive disclosures. Collaborate with teams across Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Worldwide Sustainability, presenting findings to senior leadership. Success in this position requires a capacity to navigate multifaceted projects with confidence, while demonstrating sound judgment to refine Amazon's business model. You will develop integrated reporting efforts and elevate sustainability reporting best practices. Key Responsibilities: Assess emerging regulations and craft preparation plans. Execute sustainability reporting processes, including double materiality assessments. Design enhanced governance frameworks for sustainability reporting oversight. Analyze performance against sustainability goals and draft performance narratives in collaboration with relevant teams. Work with subject matter experts to develop accurate methodologies for both voluntary and regulatory sustainability disclosures. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in sustainability reporting or related fields. In-depth knowledge of the evolving sustainability regulatory framework, including CSRD, and sustainability reporting standards. Experience with complex data analysis and disclosure creation based on various sustainability criteria. Proven ability to devise a sustainability disclosure strategy that addresses diverse stakeholder needs. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant sustainability reporting certifications (e.g., GRI Certified, ISSB Sustainability Fundamentals). Familiarity with external reporting tools like Workiva and XBRL tagging. Experience managing consultants and preparing external reports. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,500 to $207,600 depending on location and experience.
