Night Shift Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview Join our dedicated team as a Night Shift Equipment Maintenance Specialist, where safety and skilled maintenance come together! This role involves maintaining essential equipment such as rolling stock and sprinkler systems, performing general maintenance throughout the mill, and diagnosing and repairing sawmill machinery. We require someone who is committed to working safely and effectively, with a strong focus on teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for: Performing routine maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment. Diagnosing issues and executing repairs in a timely manner. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Working with various tools and machinery to install and align industrial equipment. Cleaning up any oil spills and ensuring safety standards are upheld. This position may require occasional weekend and night duties, and candidates should be prepared to work in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Safely follow all policies to maintain a secure working environment. Install, align, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to identify malfunctions. Maintain power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine maintenance on all machinery. Engage in preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Complete other tasks or projects as assigned. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in: AC/DC wiring and drives/motors. PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff). Mechanical systems including bearings and alignment. Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Design and fabrication. Preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery. Experience with mill and lathe operations is a plus.
