About the Role: In your role as a Senior Product Manager on the Kafka Connect team, you will play a key part in building the world's premier data streaming platform. You'll drive the roadmap for Confluent Connect's Enterprise feature portfolio, facilitating seamless integration between Kafka and external systems, while supporting both on-premise deployments and Confluent Cloud services. Additionally, you’ll leverage AI/ML capabilities in your feature development and collaborate with teams on various go-to-market initiatives, ensuring customer success. What You Will Do: Take ownership of a significant product initiative, guiding it from conception through customer engagement to growth strategy. Act as a key resource for your product, ensuring that engineering, design, sales, and marketing have the necessary insights to make informed decisions and successfully grow the product in the market. What You Will Bring: 8+ years of experience as a software product manager, preferably with Enterprise technical products. A strong understanding of our enterprise customers and a passion for solving their challenges through software, with a hands-on approach when necessary. Proven ability to develop a product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with customers, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Robust technical knowledge, particularly in distributed data systems, public and private cloud environments, and stream processing. Experience with modern integration platforms is a plus. Familiarity with Enterprise software features such as security, networking, and observability is advantageous. An MBA is a valuable asset.
