Summer 2026 Operations Internship

Join our team as an Operations Intern for Summer 2026! As an ECP Operations Intern, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience in conducting regulatory research and supporting compliance initiatives across various jurisdictions. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects involving licensing, reporting requirements, and regulatory monitoring, providing you with insights into the healthcare regulatory landscape and operational compliance practices. Your Impact Conduct thorough regulatory research concerning state licensing, reporting, and compliance requirements. Update and keep regulatory reference materials and tracking documents up-to-date. Analyze regulatory changes and clearly summarize key impacts for internal stakeholders. Assist in crafting new research memoranda on emerging regulatory topics. Support the documentation, tracking, and organization of compliance materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and clarify regulatory requirements. Effectively present research findings through clear and concise written summaries. Minimum Requirements Availability to work 40 hours weekly from May 18th to August 7th. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program related to pre-law, political science, public policy, healthcare administration, business, or similar fields. Authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements. For veteran candidates, military experience and training can be considered in lieu of educational experience. Preferred Skills and Experience Excellent research, analytical, and writing abilities. Strong attention to detail along with superior organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively. Prior coursework in legal research, regulatory policy, or healthcare law is advantageous. Experience in conducting structured research and drafting formal summaries. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). For candidates working in person or virtually, the salary range for this position is between $18.92 and $28.26. This role is based out of our offices located in Costa Mesa, CA, and Chicago, IL.
