The patient demographic includes older adults and adults with mobility issues. Diagnoses may include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The clinician will be responsible for pre-operative preparation for ECT. Presence in milieu and application of restraints will be necessary. The nurse will work as charge nurse as required. This position involves a patient ratio of 1:6 during shifts. Every other weekend coverage is required. Experience with electronic charting systems is essential, particularly Epic. Applicants must have experience working with diverse psychiatric conditions including severe disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use.
