Coinbase's Corporate Security (CorpSec) team is on the lookout for a Security Engineer to design, execute, and automate security solutions safeguarding our corporate infrastructure, user devices, enterprise applications, and network communications. This position combines hands-on coding with the deployment of security configurations to tackle intricate technical challenges. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring Coinbase's corporate environment remains secure, efficient, and resilient, thereby protecting sensitive data and vital assets. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and deploying security configurations to fortify Coinbase's macOS, Chromebook, and mobile endpoints, with an emphasis on secure setups, compliance, threat detection, and user experience. Developing software to automate security processes, mitigate risks, and incorporate third-party solutions. Performing security reviews of enterprise systems and software to uncover vulnerabilities and propose enhancements. Working collaboratively with IT and engineering teams to weave endpoint and SaaS security into broader corporate initiatives. What we seek in a candidate: Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering. At least 1 year of experience securing macOS in a corporate environment. Skilled in writing code to build automations, integrations, or tools that fortify corporate security infrastructure. Dedication to advancing an open financial system that connects our world. Preferred qualifications: Experience securing ChromeOS / Chromebooks in a corporate setting. Knowledge of securing endpoint communication using device trust and zero trust network access solutions (such as Cloudflare, Prisma Access, or Zscaler). Familiarity with Golang, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Job #: 76057 Compensation Information: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $152,405 to $179,300 USD.
