Overview: The Woodlands at Canterfield, a brand new Assisted Living and Memory Support community located in West Dundee, Illinois, is searching for enthusiastic Resident Care Assistants. We have opportunities for all shifts, both full-time and part-time. We offer shift differentials and weekend differentials to enhance your earning potential. Position Summary: As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will assist them with daily activities, provide medication reminders, and support their social and spiritual well-being while promoting their dignity, independence, and rights. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide medication reminders and monitor any physical or cognitive changes in residents, ensuring proper documentation and communication. Engage residents in leisure activities and help escort them to and from scheduled events. Support dining services and perform light housekeeping as needed. Adhere to all policies and procedures while completing other assigned duties. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-2+ years of caregiving experience preferred. Skills: Demonstrated compassion and empathy towards residents and team members.
