The Specialist in Endocrine Clinical Affairs will play a crucial role in fulfilling client needs, implementing strategic initiatives, and establishing Ascendis Pharma as a trusted partner for healthcare professionals and patients. Key Responsibilities Promote our Rare Conditions product portfolio, engaging healthcare professionals in meaningful clinical discussions rooted in deep knowledge and understanding. Leverage your expertise to develop tailored sales strategies that ethically meet the unique needs of our customers. Surpass sales targets through outstanding performance and unwavering dedication to excellence. Implement targeted initiatives while efficiently allocating resources to meet territory goals, always prioritizing the needs of customers and patients. Stay updated on the local healthcare landscape, including market trends and key stakeholders. Build solid relationships with Pediatric Endocrinologists, Geneticists, Orthopedic Specialists, Endocrinologists, and Pediatricians, effectively navigating through intricate referral networks. Exhibit determination and initiative in overcoming market access challenges. Utilize analytical tools to assess business performance and achieve sales goals. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans aimed at consistently exceeding sales targets. Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to optimize resources for maximum performance impact. Present approved product information and efficacy data persuasively to encourage appropriate prescribing practices. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing work hours, sales data, customer interactions, and reporting responsibilities. Partner closely with the access team to devise strategies that improve patient access to our offerings. Job Requirements A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, particularly in rare diseases and specialty therapeutics. A strong track record of exceptional sales performance. Robust clinical knowledge with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience navigating complex distribution and HUB systems to enhance customer experiences. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to accountability within a team-oriented culture. Self-motivated with strong decision-making capabilities and a steadfast commitment to ethical practices. Experience addressing diverse customer needs in multi-specialty environments while ensuring compliance. Ability to design and implement successful business plans focused on customer and patient outcomes. Proficient in data analysis to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities. Demonstrated success in building relationships and effectively communicating complex information. Compliance with all credentialing requirements, including eligibility for driving. Willingness to travel overnight as required. The annual base salary for this role is $190,000, with variations based on qualifications and experience. Candidates may also qualify for a company vehicle or allowance, as well as bonuses or commissions based on individual and company performance.
