KPMG is seeking a Director of Compliance Strategy and Oversight to strengthen our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of robust policies, procedures, controls, and standards to ensure effective compliance programs that meet regulatory expectations and align with industry best practices. Establish and maintain governance structures that support consistent implementation and oversight of compliance activities across various business sectors, including international operations and subsidiaries. Stay informed on changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring our ethics and compliance-related policies, training, processes, and controls are updated as necessary. Collaborate with different business functions to evaluate compliance program effectiveness and implement monitoring plans to uphold internal standards and external regulations. Conduct regular reviews of the ethics and compliance program to pinpoint areas for improvement and drive enhancements. Support the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in reporting on the effectiveness of KPMG's Ethics & Compliance program to management and the Board of Directors. Commit to KPMG's values of integrity, professionalism, and fostering a respectful work environment. Qualifications: At least ten years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields, ideally in professional services or regulated industries. A Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or other advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required. Proven experience in enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methods. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights to management. Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
