Senior iOS Software Engineer

Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to develop unique application experiences. Implement custom user interfaces utilizing the latest programming techniques and technologies. Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, providing constructive feedback during code reviews. Lead major initiatives, setting direction and goals for teams, while offering technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers, and assisting in onboarding new members. Design efficient and scalable architectures to support intricate applications. Identify and address performance and scalability challenges, leading efforts to minimize technical debt. Engage with various coding languages and technologies. Establish ownership of components, features, or systems, maintaining a comprehensive understanding from end to end. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of programming experience in relevant languages, or 4+ years with a PhD. Proven experience driving organizational change and leading intricate technical projects. Adept at using data and analysis to elucidate technical issues, offering detailed feedback and practical solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience shipping at least one large-scale product to production with millions of active users. 2+ years of experience developing complex applications for iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++/Swift with the iOS SDK and associated frameworks. Knowledgeable in creating maintainable and testable code bases, encompassing API design and unit testing methodologies. Familiarity with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
