Overview The Energy Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Leader. This dynamic position allows you to lead a talented team of Electrical Engineers and Designers. We have office locations in Kennesaw, GA, and Tampa, FL, offering flexibility in the workplace. Responsibilities In this role, you will inspire your team to solve complex challenges while promoting a culture of excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include: Leadership & Staff Development: Provide effective personnel leadership, resolving technical issues and supporting the growth and development of your team. Conduct annual reviews, manage daily staff activities, and identify future leaders within the organization. Drive recruitment efforts and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Client & Business Development: Foster strong client relationships, addressing any concerns while working to secure Engineer of Choice contracts. Collaborate with the Business Development team, contributing technical scope and labor hour estimates for proposals. Project & Task Management: Manage large-scale projects, holding weekly meetings with your team to ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and high-quality deliverables. Balance workloads by assigning tasks effectively, and review and approve technical documents. Technical Expertise: Leverage your consulting experience in electrical design and engineering, particularly within power generation and large industrial facilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of design engineering experience in the Power Industry. Active PE license or willingness to obtain one is necessary. Preferred experience in Fossil Power Generation and Industrial sectors. Familiarity with relevant government codes and industry standards, such as IEEE, NEC, NESC, and IEC. Superb organizational, time management, strategic planning, and communication skills. Strong verbal communication abilities tailored to various audiences. Experience in Renewable Energy including Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Background in grassroots design of power plant systems. Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail. Adept at coordination and team building across different disciplines. Ability to assess team strengths and adapt support as needed. Motivating leadership style that aligns with ENERCON's values. Strong problem-solving and scientific evaluation skills. Availability to travel up to 20% of the time for project sites, client meetings, and inter-office collaboration. Additional Information ENERCON Services, Inc.
