Position Summary: The Training District Manager (TDM) position is designed to equip candidates with the skills needed to excel as a District Manager. As a District Manager, you will lead a team of Store Managers in delivering outstanding customer experiences, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a workplace that reflects our values. Your role will involve overseeing personnel to meet profit objectives successfully. Position Training: Phase I involves foundational training for all EG America team members, followed by the MIT Training program, where you'll understand the responsibilities of Store or Restaurant Managers. The final part of Phase I includes 2-3 months of hands-on experience managing a location. Phase II requires 6-8 weeks of mentorship with a District Manager Trainer, where you will observe and practice their daily tasks. Completion of this training will position you as a District Manager In Waiting, ready to lead until a position becomes available. Responsibilities: Develop strategic plans for staffing, performance management, and team development. Enhance team engagement and productivity across locations to promote retention and growth. Exhibit leadership by establishing trust with store teams, communicating effectively, and holding team members accountable. Build a robust leadership team through hiring, promotions, and ensuring comprehensive training. Analyze financial reports, oversee sales, expenses, and inventory control, coaching managers to enhance profitability. Conduct weekly store visits to ensure compliance with company standards. Maintain guest satisfaction and product quality while ensuring safety and security. Focus on food service, driving sales, and upholding food safety standards. Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Region Manager. Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations. Working Relationships: Engage with store team members, Region Manager, VP of Retail Operations, HR Business Partner, and various company departments. Requirements: Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED Preferred Education: College degree in Business or related field, which may substitute for some required experience. Minimum Experience: 10 years in retail, specifically in restaurant general management, and successful completion of the TDM Program. Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of multi-unit experience in convenience or restaurant settings. Licenses/Certifications: Soft Skills: Exceptional team building and leadership skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Capability to multitask and effectively resolve various challenges Analytical mindset Travel: 95% travel among multiple locations. Hours & Conditions: Typically Monday - Friday for a 48-hour work week, with occasional weekend work as required. Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours daily and perform various physical activities. Other: Must maintain a clean driving record. Please indicate willingness to relocate.
