Industry Marketing and Advertising Type Privately Held About the Role The company is seeking a part-time CFO and Financial Controller to take a proactive role in managing finance operations and delivering strategic direction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting and finance functions, while also leading financial planning and overseeing project-based financial tracking. Key responsibilities include revenue recognition, margin analysis, and profitability reporting. The CFO/Controller should be prepared to provide executive-level financial insights and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting while maintaining robust internal controls. Additionally, this role supports the optimization of finance systems and workflows, collaborates with leadership to enhance operational efficiency, and increases financial transparency across projects. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a CFO or Controller in a project-based professional services organization. Proficiency in NetSuite is required; familiarity with HubSpot is highly preferred. Experience with Workfront (Adobe) for timekeeping or project tracking is a plus. A strong understanding of project accounting, margin management, and services-based KPIs. Must be comfortable working in a hands-on capacity in a remote setting. This is a part-time role offering 30-40 hours per week with the expectation of consistent availability. Travel requirements will be less than 10%. Functions Finance
