We are on the lookout for a Lead Research Engineer to be a key player in developing foundational technology for our AI Data platform and advanced intelligent applications. You will serve as a vital link between core AI development and its practical implementation, taking the lead in constructing robust codebases and infrastructure for high-impact AI products. Collaborate closely with teams of applied scientists and production engineers to prototype innovative AI solutions, enhance code for peak performance, and launch your cutting-edge solutions into products that serve a global audience. Responsibilities Work alongside applied scientists and engineers to effectively transition scientific solutions into production-ready codebases. Develop high-quality production code; refactor, optimize, and scale existing code to enhance functionality. Identify and explore new avenues for engineering advancements; actively engage in refining our existing infrastructure and development methodologies. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in AI engineering. Qualifications and Experience: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field, with at least 5 years of industry experience in AI, Generative AI, or Machine Learning. Proven development experience with a track record of converting scientific solutions into successfully deployed products. Expertise in state-of-the-art AI models for both structured and unstructured data and their engineering implementations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset. Proficient coding skills in Python, SQL, C/C++ and familiarity with frameworks like vLLM, Tensor-RT, and DeepSpeed.
