Armed Security Supervisor

Armed Security Supervisor Oversee and lead a team of Security Officers and other personnel at various client sites, ensuring compliance with post orders and the completion of established patrol rounds. Provide coaching and disciplinary actions to enhance team performance, collaborating with management as needed to support staff development. Conduct training for Security Officers and staff, reviewing post orders and assignment specifics to ensure clarity and efficiency. Assist with payroll and personnel information submissions as necessary, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work with management to guarantee adequate staffing across all security posts. Prepare and submit required documentation and reports in a timely manner. Regularly inspect security posts and meet with team members to clarify responsibilities and tasks. Engage with client representatives to confirm all security needs are being met and provide excellent customer service. Handle supervisory duties including interviewing, training, and performance management in accordance with company policies and legal regulations. May perform Security Officer duties as required, following established post orders and company policies. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. with a minimum of 2 years related experience; experience in retail is preferred. Required Skills and Competencies: Maintain all necessary state, county, and municipal licenses for Security Officers. Demonstrate knowledge of security operations, particularly in patrol and inspection processes. Understand supervisory methods and practices thoroughly. Provide effective leadership and motivate team performance. Familiarity with various security devices and safety controls. Quick Learner with ability to execute verbal and written instructions efficiently. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient at writing reports and maintaining logs. Exhibit outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills across diverse cultures. Working Conditions: Maintain professionalism under pressure and amid urgency, interacting effectively with various stakeholders. Handle stressful situations efficiently, including managing unauthorized access and related challenges. Meet company standards for background checks and testing, while maintaining all necessary licensing. Work may require overtime and flexibility with short notice. Physical demands may include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting requirements.
