Lead Principal Platform Engineer

Your Role Join our innovative Developer and Employee Experience team, where you will play a crucial role in setting standards and creating automation pipelines that empower our IT partners to effectively build, release, and manage their systems. As we make our transition to the Cloud and integrate a modern, Agentic AI-driven DevOps operational model, your expertise as a Lead Principal Platform Engineer will be essential. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Developer & Employee Experience, you will spearhead the development and upkeep of critical enterprise technology capabilities and frameworks vital for our Cloud migration. Your Knowledge and Experience A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 12 years of extensive IT experience across a diverse range of cloud services, including Azure, GCP, and AWS. Preferred 5+ years of experience in architectural practices. Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C#, Java, etc.). Expertise in enhancing architecture operating models, governance, processes, policies, and standards for enterprise architecture. Ability to develop and evolve repeatable architecture frameworks and processes that enable intricate cross-functional initiatives. Provide vision and strategic guidance across architecture domains (business, information, application, and technology). Collaborate with executive leadership to strategize and maintain solutions for the enterprise. Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the advantages of a robust enterprise architecture function to key business stakeholders. Advanced knowledge and experience with cloud technologies, including the creation of technology standards and implementation roadmaps for Azure, GCP, or AWS. In-depth understanding of AI, Agentic AI, and LLM models is highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of various cloud hosting providers, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure and AWS; Kubernetes experience is also highly desired.
