We are looking for a Cloud Network Operations Specialist who is an expert in cloud operations to manage day-to-day system health, implement scalable cloud network solutions, and automate operations, focusing primarily on Azure. About The Position: Design, implement, and maintain cloudnative network architectures such as VPCs, VNets, subnets, load balancers, and transit gateways. Configure cloud routing, firewalls, network security groups, VPNs, and segmentation policies. Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and cloud infrastructure standards. Support inter-service communication across cloud regions and accounts. Monitor cloud network performance, availability, and endpoint health. Troubleshoot cloud networking issues to minimize downtime. Execute cloud change-control activities for upgrades and configuration updates. Engage in incident response and root-cause analysis. Build automation tools using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting languages like Terraform, Bicep, Python, and PowerShell. Optimize network performance, resiliency, and cost through analysis and tuning. Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing workflows. Enforce cloud networking security controls and configuration best practices. Participate in backup, disaster recovery testing, and cloud continuity planning. Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to support secure cloud deployments. Share technical guidance and mentor team members. Configure and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, optimizing security policies and traffic segmentation. Monitor firewall logs and alerts to detect and remediate security risks. Conduct firewall audits and ensure compliance to maintain a secure cloud posture. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud networking, operations, or engineering. Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts. Proficient in IaC and scripting (Terraform, Bicep, Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Preferred Requirements: 6+ years of experience in cloud networking or engineering. Cloud-related certifications, such as Azure Network Engineer Associate. Palo Alto Networks certifications, such as PCNSA or PCNSE. Experience designing large-scale cloud networks across multiple regions. Background in supporting latency-sensitive or high-availability cloud applications.
