The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Liaison will be a vital field-based role within our Medical Affairs department, requiring travel across multiple regions, including Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Georgia, Florida, Washington, D.C., and Ohio. Candidates residing in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic regions are especially encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Build and Sustain Scientific Relationships: Develop and maintain strong scientific and clinical partnerships with external key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and strategic academic centers to facilitate credible, compliant scientific exchanges and ensure a timely flow of insights and emerging evidence to internal teams. Act as Scientific and Medical Subject Matter Expert: Provide expert guidance to external partners to bolster their scientific understanding and support the integration of our products into clinical practice. Support Medical Engagements: Participate as a scientific resource at congresses, advisory boards, and educational meetings while assisting in content development and program execution. Facilitate Research and Investigator Sponsored Studies: Handle unsolicited inquiries regarding Investigational Studies and guide submissions through the appropriate internal review and governance channels. Provide Medical Information: Serve as the primary contact for unsolicited medical inquiries, delivering precise, balanced information about product use, safety, and off-label data based on the latest scientific evidence and company standards. Generate Valuable Insights: Collect, analyze, and share insights from healthcare provider interactions and scientific engagements to inform our Medical Affairs strategies. Travel Requirements: Anticipate field-based travel of 50-60% for physician meetings, including occasional weekend commitments for conferences. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of work experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 8 years in a related field, particularly in clinical trials. Preferred Attributes: • Clinical background (MD, PA, RN) strongly preferred. • Experience in structural heart therapies (TAVR, transcatheter valve therapies, or surgical valve therapies). • Knowledge of cardiac medical devices. • Prior experience in the Medical Device Industry. • Proven organizational and project management skills. • Recognized expertise in your field with a depth of specialization. • Strong grasp of Medical Affairs principles and concepts.
