Essential Functions Prepares and issues applications for pesticide licenses.Performs complex, specialized assistance for records processing for the pesticide licensing, pesticide product registration and Nursery Programs.Gathers and proofs documentation for licensees' information and verifies accuracy in the Licensing system. Makes updates to system records, as necessary.Maintains appropriate files and records for the bureau including but not limited to up-to-date insurance certificates and applicator statuses in the software system.Communicates with the public, applicants, and bureau field staff in providing policy and regulations regarding the Illinois Pesticide Act and Insect Pest and Plant Disease Act.Serves as a receptionist for the section and/or bureau.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.Requires two years of office experience.
