The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. Shift Details Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 40 hours guaranteed per week Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility Key Responsibilities Administer intramuscular and intravenous injections, and start intravenous lines. Operate gamma cameras, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, as well as nuclear medicine computers and cardiac stress equipment. Provide basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments. Conduct cardiac studies utilizing EKG knowledge. Qualifications A minimum of 24 months of current experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Experience with Siemens and Spectrum Imaging is highly preferred. Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) within 6 months of hire. Thorough knowledge of the principles of nuclear medicine technology including chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biomedical sciences.
