Job Description Join our innovative Crypto Security Platform team, which serves as a crucial component for essential crypto services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Health. In this influential role, you'll work with a wide variety of services that are vital to our operations. Key Responsibilities Leverage your extensive knowledge of cloud services architecture along with a strong foundation in security. Utilize your experience as an architect or Principal Engineer in Identity or Crypto fields at a significant Hyperscaler to drive substantial improvements as we transform legacy systems into modern solutions. Address challenges linked to the increasing number of regions, while ensuring the security of our systems that cover crypto, identity, access, and permissions, all while maintaining optimal availability. What You Bring to the Table Over 15 years of experience in designing and managing large-scale, highly available distributed systems. Deep expertise in security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, and applied cryptography. Strong foundational knowledge in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems. Proven understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies. Capability to guide internal teams in creating secure architectures and integrating innovative technologies. Experience in evaluating security risks and upholding high security standards alongside internal architects and service teams. A solid track record of supporting security programs and ensuring security engineering/architecture in intricate enterprise environments. Education Requirements A bachelor's degree is preferred; an advanced degree is beneficial but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits Overview The expected salary for this role ranges from $161,700 to $338,500 annually, plus potential bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral options.
