Job Description

The Senior Digital Marketing Expertise will play a vital role in our global Digital Marketing team, spearheading powerful digital initiatives that enhance pipeline creation and facilitate customer growth within our Clinical Effectiveness sector. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, highly skilled in marketing automation, email execution, audience segmentation, and data-driven optimization. In this position, you will have primary responsibility for email marketing and marketing automation using Adobe Marketo Engage, while also providing support for account-based digital advertising efforts through 6sense and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders worldwide—including Campaign Strategy, Product Marketing, Sales, and Data/Analytics—to create multi-touch digital experiences that are targeted, measurable, and directly tied to revenue growth. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be present at a Wolters Kluwer Office for 2 days each week. Key Responsibilities: Email Marketing & Marketing Automation Oversee the creation, quality assurance, and distribution of email programs, engagement/nurture streams, triggered workflows, and operational campaigns in Adobe Marketo Engage. Develop and manage Smart Lists, Smart Campaigns, tokens, snippets, A/B tests, and dynamic content to enhance engagement and improve conversion rates. Maintain global email governance, ensuring adherence to naming conventions, folder structures, and compliance with deliverability standards, GDPR/CCPA regulations, and best practices for preference centers. Partner with key stakeholders to translate campaign briefs into scalable Marketo programs that align with audience strategy and lifecycle stages. Account-Based Digital Advertising Support Assist in setting up and executing ABM campaigns within 6sense, including audience/segment creation, workflow management, intent-based targeting, keyword updates, and funnel-stage activation. Support the execution of LinkedIn and Meta ads (Sponsored Content, Conversation Ads, and Document Ads), ensuring precise audience targeting and integration with Marketo workflows. Work closely with digital advertising leads to guarantee coordinated cross-channel orchestration of ads, web, and email nurture efforts. Campaign Operations, Optimization & Insights Design and implement end-to-end integrated programs linking digital ads, landing pages, web personalization, and email initiatives. Monitor campaign performance, deliver regular insights through dashboards, and suggest actionable optimizations based on engagement trends, intent signals, and content effectiveness. Execute structured A/B and multivariate testing plans across channels—subject lines, CTAs, content formats, and segmentation. Collaborate with Analytics, Content, and Program teams to ensure precise campaign tracking, attribution, and reporting. Program & Process Management Develop and uphold scalable audience segmentation strategies, ensuring effective targeting, persona alignment, and preventing audience fatigue across programs. Verify that all programs adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and maintain consistent messaging across different regions. Oversee budget tracking for digital advertising and ABM programs, ensuring accuracy across campaigns and cost centers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of MarTech processes—including documentation, quality assurance procedures, and campaign setup templates. Desired Skills & Experience Strong communicator: Proficient in clear and concise writing, capable of synthesizing and presenting insights effectively. Highly collaborative: Comfortable working with cross-functional global teams and adapting to shifting priorities. Technical and analytical: Able to troubleshoot Marketo logic, identify flow errors, and analyze data to inform decision-making. Self-starter mindset: Proactive in seeking opportunities to enhance workflows, boost performance, and embrace new capabilities. Organized and deadline-driven: Exceptional project management skills, adept at juggling multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment. Customer- and revenue-focused: Understanding of the B2B buyer journey, funnel dynamics, and the importance of delivering measurable business outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar field. 3 - 6 years experience in B2B digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations (Healthcare or enterprise SaaS background preferred). Practical experience with: Adobe Marketo Engage (required)—ability to manage programs end-to-end. 6sense or similar ABM/intent platforms. LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta. Salesforce CRM. Web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics). Experience with HTML/CSS and email template editing is a plus.
