This Project Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage complex facade projects from design to installation, while mentoring the next generation of project management professionals. As a premier commercial glazing contractor, we handle a substantial portfolio of large-scale commercial projects. Our new division is receiving promising contracts, providing an excellent platform for a seasoned Project Manager to truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Project Leadership: Oversee intricate commercial glazing and facade projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion from initial design to installation. Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with external design teams, fabricators, suppliers, and glazing contractors to deliver personalized facade solutions for high-rise commercial properties. Design Collaboration: Collaborate with architectural teams to refine facade designs, ensuring they meet budget and technical requirements. Procurement and Scheduling: Manage material procurement, monitor delivery timelines, and align resource allocation with project schedules. Mock-Up Coordination: Lead the performance mock-up development and testing phases to ensure compliance with building codes and performance standards. Budget and Quality Oversight: Keep a close watch on project finances, assess costs, identify risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain profitability and quality. Team Development: Mentor and support junior project managers, sharing expert knowledge of industry best practices. Effective Communication: Prepare insightful status reports and maintain clear communication with clients, senior management, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Manufacturing Coordination: Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure custom facade systems are produced according to specifications and delivery expectations. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the commercial glazing sector with significant contractors. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of facade systems, construction methods, building codes, and industry standards. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (such as Autodesk Build, Primavera, Bluebeam, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, efficient decision-making capabilities, and adept coordination of diverse stakeholders. Proven Track Record: Documented history of delivering projects on budget and on schedule in the commercial glazing field. Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is required. Preferred Qualifications PMP or CMIT certification. Experience in design-assist and manufacturing workflows. Diverse background across various project types and scales. Demonstrated leadership in developing junior project management professionals. Experience with high-rise commercial structures and complex facade systems.
