Job Description Join our dedicated team as a Senior Test Consultant, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality of electronic medical software utilized by various federal agencies. In this client-facing role, you will lead meetings and test sessions with government representatives, working towards delivering a high-quality product that enhances the healthcare experience for active duty service members, veterans, and their care teams. Responsibilities Support manual testing efforts including both functional testing and technical/interface testing. Gather requirements necessary for developing test plans and creating test scripts. Design and write comprehensive manual front-end test scripts for diverse service line workflows to validate design and configurations against client specifications. Adhere to established test case writing standards. Consult clients on design decisions impacting testing processes. Coordinate and lead testing sessions involving federal testing teams and various stakeholders. Provide oversight, direction, and expertise in testing for multiple workflows within the solutions provided. Collaborate with clients on best testing practices and identify suitable testing methods based on project scope. Advise internal and external project stakeholders on testing matters, defect investigations, and any related issues. Manually execute test cases and document test evidence as required. Ensure proper maintenance of test evidence records in compliance with testing standards. Lead and facilitate test plan reviews while managing ongoing test execution schedules. Document, track, and manage test findings and defects utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Participate in preparations and reviews for joint testing, regression cycles, and sustainment testing procedures. Maintain compliance regarding record management and privacy/security standards while handling PHI or PII data during testing. Qualifications 3-5 years in a relevant role. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise related to the focus of the role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to engage with internal and external teams. Demonstrated capability to complete assignments independently while applying judgment within defined processes. Hands-on experience in writing formal test plans/scripts and compiling testing evidence in regulated environments. U.S. citizenship is required due to client contract obligations. Eligibility to acquire the appropriate government security clearance relevant to the position. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing Oracle Cerner products. Knowledge and experience in testing practices. Experience with federal government clients. Familiarity with EHR workflows, interface validation, or data migration testing. Prior involvement in federal health IT projects (such as VA, DoD) or experience with testing activities in regulated healthcare IT settings. Experience in a clinical/hospital environment, or thorough knowledge of hospital operations and patient care processes. Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management, JIRA, or similar test management and defect tracking tools. Compensation and Benefits The hiring range for this position is between $71,200 and $158,200 per annum, potentially eligible for bonuses and equity.
