Description Job Description: Title: Business Process Improvement Analyst - Process Excellence Location: Candidates based in Florida are highly preferred or fully remote, open to EST and CST candidates. Required: 2-4 years of experience in process analysis, business process management, project management, or related fields. Please note: If this position is posted as fully remote or hybrid, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite as needed. Additionally, our remote work policy includes having a dedicated workspace free from distractions. About the Role: The Business Process Improvement Analyst is essential in evaluating and enhancing business processes to support operational excellence. By applying process improvement methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver impactful changes. This role involves working on initiatives of varying complexity while balancing independent decision-making with guidance from senior peers. You'll also engage in change management efforts and identify opportunities for improvements. Key Responsibilities: Process Evaluation & Design: Assess and redesign business processes to enhance quality and efficiency. Process Improvement Methodologies: Apply techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile to diagnose issues and propose solutions. Data & Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and validate improvement opportunities. Project Participation & Leadership: Lead or support process improvement initiatives and coordinate tasks with moderate supervision. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate sessions with stakeholders from various departments to ensure alignment during improvement efforts. Change Management Support: Assist in implementing new processes and help stakeholders adapt effectively. Documentation & Workflow Development: Create process documentation and training materials for knowledge transfer. Performance Monitoring: Assist in developing metrics to track process effectiveness and sustainability. Stakeholder Consultation: Work with business units to identify improvement opportunities and offer recommendations. Training & Presentations: Deliver training on process-related topics to enhance understanding. Quality & Compliance Focus: Engage in initiatives to ensure processes comply with IOA standards. Risk Awareness: Conduct reviews to address operational risks and maintain compliance quality. Process Integration: Help integrate updated processes with existing systems, coordinating with affected teams. Industry & Organizational Knowledge: Stay updated on insurance industry processes and trends. Team Support & Collaboration: Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate with peers on shared improvements. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in process analysis or related operations improvement work. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent training and experience. Proficiency in at least one improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex workflows. Effective communication skills tailored to various roles. Proven collaborative skills with ability to build consensus. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Solid understanding of business operations, preferably in the insurance industry.
