Join our dynamic team: We are part of a fast-paced Supply Chain organization empowering Fortune 500 clients to transform their sourcing, procurement, and management of third-party relationships. Our work integrates operating model design, process innovation, AI-enabled procurement, digital solutions, and cost transformation with a strong industry focus. In the Energy sector (Upstream, Oilfield Services, Downstream), procurement plays a pivotal role in delivering value. We assist clients in reengineering operational workflows, merging human and AI capabilities, updating procurement technologies, and achieving sustainable cost reductions and performance enhancements while fostering more resilient and agile organizations. Your role: As a manager, you will spearhead end-to-end sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives, collaborating directly with senior leadership within our Sourcing & Procurement practice and building relationships with stakeholders in Energy clients (Category managers, Functional leads, VP level). Your responsibilities will encompass strategy, design, and execution across the following areas: The Work: Operating Model & Organization Design Craft future-ready procurement operating models tuned to the realities of the Energy sector. Establish roles, governance structures, decision rights, and collaborative methods across business, procurement, and suppliers. Integrate AI and Agentic AI into procurement workflows to enhance speed, quality, and scalability. Process Reinvention & Digital Enablement Redesign core sourcing and procurement processes adopting a digital-first and automation-led approach. Highlight opportunities to embed AI, analytics, and intelligent agents into business partnering, category management, sourcing, contracting, buying, and supplier management. Guide clients through procurement technology enablement. Sourcing, Cost & Value Delivery Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction programs within Energy-specific categories. Deliver value beyond savings by enhancing reliability, supplier performance, and reducing risks. Facilitate and lead complex supplier negotiations. Data, Insights & Performance Leverage data and analytics to uncover bottlenecks, cost-saving opportunities, and performance gaps. Set procurement KPIs and implement 360-degree value tracking mechanisms aligned with business objectives. Leadership & Client Delivery Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage delivery across one or multiple workstreams. Serve as the team lead, responsible for team delivery, managing relationships with client stakeholders, and translating challenges into practical solutions. Champion change management and capability development to ensure lasting adoption. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain. At least 2 years of management consulting experience or equivalent internal consulting role. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Energy industry in a consulting capacity. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years minimum required; if holding an associate degree, must have at least 6 years of work experience). Bonus Qualifications: Experience working directly for an Energy operator, in addition to consulting experience. Deep understanding of procurement operating models, sourcing, and process design or specific expertise in Energy categories. Demonstrated capability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and deliver complex projects. Hands-on experience with procurement technology implementations. Knowledge of AI, advanced analytics, or automation within procurement contexts. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certifications. Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools. MBA or an advanced degree. At Accenture, compensation is competitive and varies based on multiple factors such as office location, role, skills, and experience.
