Liberty Systems is searching for a driven full-time Technical Buyer to join our team in Waukesha, WI. This full-time procurement opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and the chance to become a key player in a company renowned for its customer service, product quality, and support. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR TECHNICAL BUYER As a Technical Buyer, you will identify and evaluate suppliers for technical products, negotiate terms, and manage relationships to secure the best quality, pricing, and availability. Your days will be filled with tracking supplier performance and monitoring expenditures, resolving any issues related to quality or delivery, and maintaining accurate procurement records. You will stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies, ensuring Liberty Systems remains competitive. Collaboration will be a constant as you partner with engineering, operations, service, and sales teams to meet technical requirements and support business objectives. From creating RFQs and issuing purchase orders to analyzing data and adapting to evolving needs, you will play a critical role in driving our supply chain success. Here's what we need from you: Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field 5+ years of experience in procurement Experience with VMI and reporting using key performance indicators Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and database experience Strong analytical skills and knowledge of inventory management principles Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records Proactive communication and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and implement buying policies and procedures Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to analyze large, complex data sets and generate meaningful insights Adaptability and flexibility to changing business needs Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a plus) WHY CHOOSE US?
