We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Drone Flight Operations Monitor to join our dynamic Prime Air Team. This pivotal role is essential to our commitment to safe, efficient, and reliable package delivery through our advanced drone fleet. As a Flight Operations Monitor, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring of drone flights, ensuring compliance with operational regulations, and upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights in your assigned region using advanced monitoring systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety policies during all drone flights. Effectively coordinate with relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve any situations that arise. Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies while providing feedback to support operational improvements. Utilize your strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, maintaining high attention to detail. Work collaboratively in a team and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills in high-pressure environments. Adhere strictly to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives. This role involves physical demands and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for up to 12-hour shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as this position may require work during nights, weekends, and holidays. Please note that travel may be required up to 25% of the time, and this role may be subject to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing as well as compliance with export control laws. Basic Qualifications: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of weather patterns impacting flight operations. Experience interpreting flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms. Familiarity with FAA regulations. Proficient in computer systems and troubleshooting. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aviation, drone operations, or similar real-time monitoring roles. Familiarity with technical or engineering record keeping methods. Demonstrated decision-making capabilities under pressure. Experience in risk assessment and mitigation. The compensation for this position ranges from $23.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
