Registered Dietitian (RD)Registered Dietician (RD) Responsibilities: To ensure medical nutritional therapy is assessed: implemented and monitored for all residents in accordance the facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans and appropriate regulations Observe meal service in the main dining room and other congregate dining areas as needed. Registered Dietician (RD) Qualifications: - Must hold certifications or licensure required by the state Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job Initiate nutritional assessments within 24 hours and complete in 7 days Staff development functions: conduct, attend and do in-service education for all staff related to resident nutritional status and the facility practices.
