What You'll Do as a Registered Nurse Administer and monitor psychiatric medications; assess for side effects and adverse reactions. Complete documentation including progress notes, doctor's orders, and admissions paperwork. Review labs, interpret preliminary results, and communicate essential updates to medical staff. Serve as a liaison with hospitals, pharmacies, residential programs, and other healthcare partners. Conduct mental status and basic physical evaluations (vitals, BMI, appearance, mood, etc.). Support clients with medication programs, pill box prep, and prior authorizations. Coordinate care with clients, guardians, prescribers, and insurance when needed. Provide educational groups promoting positive health habits. Assist with medical appointments for clients and monitor daily wellbeing. Maintain medication inventory, audit readiness, and ensure accurate documentation. Qualifications Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college. Current Utah RN license. Mental health experience preferred. Must pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check. Must obtain a Utah Office of Licensing BCI clearance after hire.
