Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in pharmaceutical research and development, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the Facilities & Engineering department supporting the maintenance and operation of a cutting-edge R&D facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Facilities Technician 2 Location: Philadelphia, PA Pay Range: $28-30/hourShift: Dayshift 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm What's the Job? Support routine maintenance and inspections of building systems and laboratory infrastructure Assist with preventative maintenance on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems Help monitor and troubleshoot building automation and utility systems Complete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS system Ensure safety procedures and GMP standards are strictly followed during all tasks What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred 1-3 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities operations preferred Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with hand tools and basic test equipment Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset What's in it for me?
