Packer - Oak Brook, IL 1st / 2nd / 3rd $17.19 - $19.26 Job Description As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain a fast pace to ensure production lines are not slowed down. Responsibilities Count the correct amount of products to be packed. Weigh boxes on some lines to ensure correct counts. Perform quality checks to ensure labels are correctly placed. Verify there are no bubbles, incorrect expiration dates, or misprints on products. Stand for the entire shift and maintain a fast pace. Essential Skills Experience in packing, production, and packaging. Ability to perform general labor duties including picking, loading, and unloading. Proficiency in palletizing, stacking, inspecting, and labeling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a packer is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced, with a requirement to stand for the entire shift. You will be provided with a locker on the first day for personal belongings. Employees can carry a clear bag containing a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The work takes place in a manufacturing location, which also serves as the corporate headquarters. The third shift is smaller and quieter, with only a supervisor present, requiring team members to work independently. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
