Academic Child Neurologist

Position Overview: SLUCare Physician Group, part of SSM Health, is excited to invite a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Child Neurologist to join our expanding team at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and Saint Louis University School of Medicine. This exceptional academic position offers extensive opportunities in clinical care, teaching, and research. Key Responsibilities: Engage with the Division of Child Neurology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon. Collaborate within a dynamic team of 8 Child Neurologists. Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for children dealing with a variety of neurological disorders. Expect 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient clinical responsibilities. Focus on general child neurology with chances to cultivate subspecialty interests in neurodevelopment, headache, and neuro-oncology. Participate in an inpatient call rotation of 1:6. Conduct 8 half-day clinics weekly at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Contribute to the education of SLU medical students, pediatric residents, and neurology residents. Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Child Neurology. Must be eligible for Missouri medical licensure. Passion for academic medicine and a commitment to teaching.
