Your Role As a Senior Claims Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly investigate, assess, and resolve intricate personal injury, product liability, and property damage claims against Lowe's and its subsidiaries. You'll ensure that all actions align with Lowe's values and objectives. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth investigations of claims, evaluating complex personal injury, product liability, and property damage cases. Gather necessary information and assess damages to determine liability and eligibility for compensation. Lead a team of Claims Examiners, providing guidance and integrating Lowe's culture into training and onboarding processes. Interview claimants and witnesses, obtain official reports, and compare claim details with evidence to establish facts. Act as a point of escalation for unresolved claims issues and manage complaints regarding claims handling. Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and legal principles to effectively resolve claims. Work closely with Store Operations, Human Resources, and Loss Prevention to ensure timely and efficient claim resolutions while meeting customer expectations. Prepare comprehensive reports by collecting and summarizing relevant information. Negotiate settlements within your authority, ensuring alignment with Lowe's core values by assessing liability, processing demands, and managing regulatory filings. Control claim costs while delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complaints to client satisfaction. Comply with all federal and state regulations and service standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Claims Examiner or relevant experience in related fields (e.g., loss prevention, customer service, legal experience). Preferred Qualifications Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree. 4 years of experience in claims examination or related fields. 2 years of experience in claims examination or related fields. 1 year of experience in claims examination or related fields. Understanding of finance or accounting as related to Lowe's. Relevant professional licenses, such as a North Carolina insurance adjuster license.
