Job Description Join Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure team, where innovation meets cutting-edge technology! We are developing advanced IaaS and PaaS solutions that deliver exemplary performance in a multi-tenant cloud environment. As a vital member of the OCI Product Management and Customer Engineering team, you will be instrumental in shaping and launching pioneering products and cloud services across the OCI platform. Responsibilities Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of major competitors in the OCI space, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud across various service layers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Continuously track competitor product launches, pricing strategies, GTM moves, and organizational changes to assess their impact on OCI’s market position. Create and maintain competitive profiles, battlecards, and detailed reviews for internal stakeholders, comprising sales, product management, and executive teams. Market Trend Identification: Monitor and assess macro trends in cloud computing, emphasizing technology adoptions like AI/ML, Serverless, and Edge computing, along with new use cases and geographical dynamics. Spot market opportunities and potential risks that could influence OCI's strategic direction. Data Synthesis & Reporting: Aggregate and interpret data from various sources, including analyst reports, customer feedback, financial statements, and internal analytics tools. Produce insightful market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for executives that effectively convey insights and strategic recommendations. Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Management to prioritize features and position products effectively based on market needs and competitive analysis. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver valuable insights and resources that empower successful deal closures against competitors. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for market and competitive intelligence during strategic planning discussions. Customer & Partner Insights: Examine customer usage patterns and spending behaviors on OCI, along with their motivations for choosing or leaving the platform. Assess the ecosystem of cloud partners and their relevance to OCI's strategic vision. Minimum Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; a Master's degree is preferred. Experience: 5+ years in Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy Consulting, or Business Analysis, with at least 3 years in cloud computing or enterprise technology. Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS) with familiarity of major cloud providers’ offerings. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with the skill to simplify complex data into actionable business insights. Communication: Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to present effectively to senior executives. Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing primary research such as customer interviews or win/loss analysis. Proven ability to manage multiple complex and time-sensitive projects concurrently. Salary Range: $82,500 to $199,500 per year, plus potential bonus and equity.
