We are seeking a strategic leader for the position of Associate Vice President (AVP) for Corporate Technology Solutions. This role will drive technology delivery within Human Resources IT (HRIT), Finance IT, and Legal, Compliance & Risk. The AVP will work closely with the VP, Segment CIO to lead transformation initiatives, ensure cross-functional alignment, and actively engage with business stakeholders for impactful outcomes. Initially, the focus will be on HR and Finance, with potential future expansion into Legal, Risk, and Compliance as our transformation efforts progress. What You'll Do: Utilize extensive program and project management experience to guide large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Effectively influence change management and cultural transformation across teams. Exhibit an inclusive leadership style that promotes positive outcomes in challenging situations. Demonstrate creativity and persistence in overcoming obstacles to meet strategic goals. Bring significant expertise in platforms like Workday, Oracle Fusion, and Anaplan, particularly in leading HR and Finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results with technical expertise across various platforms, as well as senior leadership experience in complex corporate environments. As a change agent, collaboration with diverse internal and external partners will be vital in designing and implementing strategic initiatives. Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with technology and business leadership to define a strategic vision for technology deployment in HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk IT portfolios, covering over 75 applications and core platforms. Shape the investment and modernization roadmap for HR technology, enhancing the associate experience. Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders. Facilitate engaging experiences for all stakeholders including candidates, associates, contractors, and visitors. Work with product owners, strategy teams, and IT development partners to execute the strategy and roadmap. Lead high-performing delivery teams while fostering a culture of engagement and talent development. Continuously evaluate new technologies and processes, recommending enhancements to organizational capabilities. Assess and manage IT investment risks proactively. Consult with stakeholders to define systems requirements for new technology implementations. Build a comprehensive understanding of interconnected organizational capabilities across various segments. Make strategic decisions that align with intradepartmental coordination and business outcomes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 15+ years of technical leadership experience with HCM and ERP solutions, primarily Workday, Oracle, and other SaaS solutions across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Risk. 10+ years of experience managing large teams of full-time employees and contractors. In-depth knowledge of vendor contract negotiations and best practices in risk management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A genuine passion for improving consumer experiences. Proven ability to influence peers and senior leadership organization-wide. Note: This position is primarily remote, but occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: This range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment, with an actual pay that may vary based on geographical location and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
