Industry Education Management Type Nonprofit Founded 2004 Employee Count 1-10 Role Overview We are in search of a strategic and visionary leader for the position of Executive Leader to advance our mission of fostering debate education within urban public schools. This crucial role entails serving as the chief executive officer, managing organizational operations, and acting as the primary face of our organization. The selected candidate will advocate for empowering youth voices, cultivating confidence, and paving pathways to college and career success through debate. As the public representative of our organization, you will interact with donors, foundations, and education stakeholders to secure major gifts and institutional funding. Key responsibilities include: Serving as the organization's chief ambassador. Developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies. Representing our organization at national events. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in senior executive roles, experience in mission-driven organizations, and a strong network within the philanthropic community. A solid background in strategic planning, team leadership, and a deep commitment to educational equity is essential. This position requires a confident communicator, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders both in person and through various media channels. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree highly preferred. Additionally, proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
