We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Civil Engineer specializing in Marine Infrastructure Engineering Services. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Project Managers to establish and oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Create construction documents, including plans and specifications. Work with Foth's Technical Competency Leaders to enhance our technical library for waterfront projects. Continuously improve standard work practices. Assist Client Team Leaders in developing relationships with new and existing clients by creating proposals and nurturing client connections. Prepare and review technical approaches and proposals for projects and coastal engineering tasks. Lead communication with clients from proposal to project completion as the technical expert. Deliver formal and informal presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Foster collaboration among team members across all disciplines, focusing on waterfront services. Coach and mentor technical team members for their professional development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 7+ years of marine engineering experience, particularly in marine infrastructure and dredging. Proficient in developing construction documents including plans and specifications. Professional Engineer license for Tennessee, or the ability to obtain one within one year. Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years with an engineering consulting firm, focusing on coastal engineering and marine construction. Experience as a technical lead/designer on various waterfront and coastal engineering projects. Knowledge of coastal conditions calculations and structural analyses for marine infrastructure projects. Proven track record of leading planning, engineering, construction, and rehabilitation of coastal and waterfront structures. Familiarity with navigating regulations regarding marine infrastructure and coastal engineering. Experience integrating complex engineering and environmental science on marine projects. Why Foth?
